So. I was just wondering and contemplating about what the purpose of this blog was.... wondering if people actually read this... but most of the things that I have posted so far (with exception to the (one) Project365 post), seems to me that it would fit under my (very, very far) upcoming site project.... but not sure when that will actually happen... =|

But, the purpose of this blog is to kind of have a place that I can share what's going on in my life with the people's blogs that I follow.. since in a way, those people are letting me into thier lives, its only fair if they are too? But yeah, just wondering. I do want to post much more in the future, like my outifts and document my daily outfits but I kind of feel that I should have another site/name for that, just so that its distinguished.. I need to think about this more.

Well. Lately, I have just been up to not much really other than being online and at home doing pretty much nothing productive with exception to cleaning my room or the laundry or taking Biscuit (my guinea pig) to get his nails trimmed, but those are necessary things. These holidays I did want to get my site project up and running but.... I guess laziness and procrastination kicked in >_< Should really get things moving and have at least a part of the website up since there's only a few more days of break left.

And, lastly, to include the readers (if there is any), I would like to invite you to answer this question (might have one every entry? If I can think of one...), but this has been on my mind since one of my friends bought it up and it made me think. When gift-giving, for a birthday for example, what do you think the meaning of it is? For me (before this friend told me thier POV), it was getting them something they liked or would enjoy. Makes sense right? But then, my friend said that it was about getting something that is a reflection of yourself. Which that made sense too. What's your stance on this?

Oh, and this idea is something that I see that Amanda does on her blog, her QOTW, but I think for me, every entry or when I can think of one..

Hmm. Well since I'm asking questions, i want to bring your attention to something else that I discovered/read on another blog today, specifically, this entry. The concept of symbolism and the like in pop culture and the media. In particular reference to particular popular music videos and musicians in today's society and also 2009's MTV VMA's. It's all pretty much in that entry that I linked that you will find all that I am referring to. After reading, what are you thoughts on it? Me, I'm a little spooked and well, at first I thought that notebookdoodles was referring to the sexual content that is hinted at (or not at all in some cases, i.e. what I said about Jason Derulo's latest song) but no, it was something else much more deeper and possibly sinister? I can't believe it but the signs and symbolism is there and you can't really ignore it.....?

I think that's enough 'food-for-thought' in one entry.... >_<
The concert was pretty good in my opinion but probably because of my mood and my seat (but that would be my fault for getting my ticket late.., I didn't enjoy it as much as I should have. But saying that, the overall experience and such were really good. She is awesome live and is quite cute with her on-stage energy and jumping around.

She performed the majority of her songs from her latest album (no doubt, of course) and I did quite love the lighting that they did (even though this doesn't really relate to her much). If I had been closer, it would have been much more exciting, I think it was good for the amount of my money I paid (way cheaper than what I would have paid if I bought it from Ticketmaster).

But yeah, not much else to say. Really awesome live and would definitely go see her again. Well, possibly. But I think I would just because she is one of the very few artists that I actually do buy each and every album~ =]

I'd definitely recommend going if she came again. There's none of that lip-syncing stuff.
I thought it was time for an update and since I wasn't doing anything productive related to my essay that is due in 3 days in which there is just over about 550 words (but I need 2500 O_O), I thought it was time to update!

So, I went to see Alice in Wonderland last week with two friends and of course, I heard the good reviews of it... or merely just that "it was good/great, you should go see it" pretty much but anyways, heard good things about the movie with exception to one bad one, so decided I definitely wanted to go see this. My friends also wanted to go see it in 3D too and so that would have made it even more awesome, I hoped.

I was wrong. It would have been SO much better without. It didn't really bring out any aspects, in my opinion. I really loved the 3D in Avatar (those flying/buzzing dragonfly creatures? Awesome. I loved it. Pretty much highlight of movie haha ;P). I don't think this movie really required 3D and just started to also notice that pretty much all movies that are coming out around this time, about 45%, maybe is in 3D... this would be the part where I rant on and on, but I don't think I actually care a great deal about it other than in this particular movie.. I think I'll reserve my judgement and pass judgement on a case by case basis =)

So. Anyways. The movie at hand. I liked it. At first it really followed the story and then of course, it changed (imo or it is just that I only remember the beginning and then not the rest, coz I was actually thinking and questioned someone (who was obviously WAY MORE familiar with the story, there's a White and Red Queen?? T_T fail.). So, yeah it changed. If I didn't know any better (I probably don't), I would have thought that the director/screenwriter changed things a bit from the story. But yeah, I liked it. (As I reiterate. Again.)

Not much else to comment on. Oooh! The CGI (? Probably) was pretty awesome, I think. Especially the Cheshire Cat. Loved him! <3 I think one of my favourite characters followed by or as well as the crazy looney hare and the little mouse and ooh! Of course, the rabbit!! I love animals lol.

And then onto other topics, such as lookbook.nu, I want one. But I think I will just stick to maybe creating another blog or tumblr and doing it form there... or could use Chictopia... We'll see.

And then I think that's about it. Been busy with uni work. I hate essays =( and still job-hunting.. >_< unitl next time....
So, after watching KevJumba's latest video on Ridiculous Lyrics and listening to Jason DeRulo's new song, In My Head, I have come to the conclusion that I don't want to like the song because of the lyrics. It's so... crude? It's kind of hard seeing as it's played almost everywhere and unless you're not someone who doesn't like listening to mainstream music, it'll be a hard task to avoid... >_< and, it's not really just that song, there are, of course other songs that refer to crude things such as the one in KevJumba's latest video, Ke$sha's (also) latest song, Blah Blah Blah (as linked earlier) and of course 90's pop band, Spice Girls - 2 Become 1 among most probably many, many others. I don't know why it particularly bothers much but.. well, it just does. I have tried very hard to switch to another station when it comes on. And, also while I'm on the topic of Jason Derulo, in his first video and song, he is trying really hard to be the next Chris Brown... just sayin'. Next topic!

It's not been a recent thing, but I'm starting to wean(?) off the idea of Twitter... could be that there is a mini-twitter on Facebook but... it's kind of become too much hard work and effort to open it and post stuff... or this could be when I changed browsers from Firefox to Chrome and instead of it just being there whenever I opened FF, I have to open another program if I want to stay in the Twitterverse.. OR, it could just be my laziness haha.. Probably that.

And I'm sensing that I'm choosing my words very carefully in this blog/post and I dunno, trying to be semi-formal? It's weird... Hmm. Anyways, this week's Project365 post is yet to come as I need to take two more photos from days that I've missed.. that week was a week of new experiences! First, there was my first time being at a filming for a movie (although my role was just a role of an extra - patron in a restaurant to be more specific) but it was good expereince, met and talked to a few people that I would not have normally met or talked to and it was an interesting experience!
Well... I've actually forgotten what my other first-time experiences were lol. And that is why I need to update weekly, because of my poor memory! >_< Oh yeah! i remember what my other first-time experience was, it was, I think photographing at a gig in Parnell on Saturday~ but it wasn't very good... I don't think I captured any 'good' moments... oh well, that was my first time so can't expect too much~

This is turning into a long entry..... so will end it here. Oh, and was going to update the other day on an album review but lost it... T_T hate it when you lose entries >_<
Yay! Finally! I have found the perfect blog name that I want and that is available too! ^^ For some reason I have wanted to make a central blog tying all the other things together. Not that I had that many other things. But also to share stuff like movie and music reviews. And also because I feel like challenging myself and making myself do probably way too many projects.... =_= but I want this year to be memorable and maybe also to keep myself occupied.... >_<

But, anyways. I have had a few websites in the past including a blog and a personal (ages ago and when I actually knew enough to make and create websites and layouts from scratch... well alright ones) site. But yeah, mostly everyone knows who I am without giving away too much~

But yes. =D

I hope to also have images and photos with every post to make it more aesthetically pleasing and not all reading. And to make true to that hope, the first week of one of my many projects.... Project365!
